Spotting scope

In spotting scope, what is the best size for hunting and shooting ? I had been looking at the vortex HD in the 85 mil. But I had several say to big and not Necessary. So looking for Lil help n advice. Thanks Danny

Use case will largely factor into it. I love using my kowa 88 but it is big and heavy. On mountain hunts, I find myself wishing I had a 65mm or similar size. For truck use and little amount of hiking on easy terrain, the bigger the better

The 553/4 and 773/4 by Kowa are excellent and light. Costs more.
