Spotting Scope Question

Would a ZEISS T85 FT spotting scope with a 20-60x eye piece for $1000.00 dollars be considered a good deal? I have never bought a spotting scope, nor have I used one. I have been saving money for one, thinking I would go big with a Kowa, or Swaro, but this deal might be worth jumping on...right?

I imagine I would have to buy a tripod then as well. Scope is straight.

Ya, I picked up my Swaro 20-60,80mm for $900. I burned a hole in my back pocket tearing the wallet out so fast.

A while back there was a guy advertising a Swaro scope well below value...Looked stolen.

But this is the time of year folks start looking for $$ for Christmas.

Screaming deal if it was legit. Im looking at buying one right now. Its tough to find them under 2700. Early this year CamoFire had them for in the low 2000's. I kick myself for missing that deal. If your a member you can get one for 2600 at Promotive for the X75 lens. Im going to give CameraLand a call today and see if they can beat that deal.

If you wait for camera land to have one of their sales there is a good chance you can pick one up cheaper. I picked up an open box demo and was able to get 20% off of that. They only have a couple of sales like that a year but for me it was worth the wait.
