What are you guys using for your spotters? I have a Kowa 883 and I’m looking at some arca plates.

I have a RRS with an anvil on it
I plan on putting a a panner in it to make it easier to glass.

Nothing wrong with ty-70’s. Just depends on what else you’re running on the tripod and how much adjusting you want to do

So I plan on running my rifle on the anvil. I was to a RRS pc-lr or similar to use on top of the anvil to glass with my bino and spotter. The plate will be permanently attached to the spotter.

Why not use RRS ARCA rails?

Good option but a pretty penny for just a plate. It’s what I was originally going to get but was trying to see if there was anything else.
Another thing too is that I have the outdoorsman bino adapter on my binos. If I get the panner from them, I could just use the outdoorsman adapter to run it on top of the RRS anvil. I’m going to confirm all this today with Outdoorsman

If you’re just needing a plate between your Anvil 30 and your panning head (which is what quite a few people do), then about any Arca plate will work. The clamping force and width range of the Anvil 30 can accommodate fairly large variances in plate widths.
