Has anyone gotten their hands on the windage bracket they showed at ATA?

And if so anyone know if it will work with the Hogg Father Double pin? I've only seen pics of it with their multi-pin scopes which have a whole different attachment to the site base

It’ll work on that sight but not for a double pin. For a double pin you can loosen it and slide the whole head left/right for more windage.

This is just an updated 3rd axis adjustment bracket for multi pin heads.

Ah was hoping it would help with the V3X issue of having the bar run through the stabilizer. Myself and I know a lot of others can no longer use the sight because it runs out of adjustment given the new placement of the bar. We can certainly go back to the regular mount. But was hoping this little bracket could fix it.

Your current sight has a massive amount of windage. There’s ZERO reasons this would help you(won’t work with that head) unless you’re planning to switch to a multi pin head. All you need to do for a double pin is loosen the head and slide it left or right. Problem solved. That will then allow you to use the left/right adjustment knob for fine adjustment.

Yup its maxed out the right, still hits right.. i'm not the only one with this problem right now. Wish Mathews had done more to partner with sight companies

Where's your centershot?

Haven't had any issues with scope rods, it's the pin housings that get difficult. I haven't put my triple stack on yet, but from a few measurements it should be fine. My gang adjustment will need to sit a little off center, but it should work and will still have room to play.

The hogg-its are more difficult, but hogg fathers have been alright.

Well for me, and from what I've read on other forums, if you are using the dovetail through the riser, a lot of sites don't have enough windage back to the right. I have a Fast Eddie XL and it just barely works with the 41mm spot hogg housing. But the Hogg Father maxes out.

I think you have to realize Matthews was never going to cater to ALL sight manufacturers and that this is a new "technology." The first rendition is going to have its quirks and exceptions and the windage issues are just that. Maybe they do something about it on their next line and maybe not. End of the day, there are solutions to that problem. Whether you like the solutions or want to pursue that those routes falls on you. It was a strategic move to partner with Axcel to make one sight they can slap their logo on and mark it up. Simple as that.

I picked up a V3X 33 and switched from a Fast Eddie XL to a UV3 scope and have had no problems with windage. I'm sure if I bumped up to a UV3XL, that it might become an issue.

Totally agree. And that’s what I’ve done so far. And I’m happy to play with other site configurations. Most are new to me so I’m curious about them. I have a UV3XL on a fast Eddie right now and it’s working well. And a UV3 scope on the way.

When I started this thread I thought the bracket may help get the Hogg father to work but seems like it won’t. Which is good to know. Now I don’t have to spend money trying it out.
