The click on the Tommy isn't all that loud.

But you don't need to engage it. The wheel has enough tension that it will hold it without re-engaging the adjuster. You can disengage it with no noise by holding it firmly close to the wheel.

I recently purchased a Fast Eddie, upgrading from a Hunter. The 5 pin hunter has a really busy sight picture, and this 3 pin with the bottom pin as a floater is very versatile

What I like about the Fast Eddie is that it isn't any longer than the hunter overall, and has all the advantages of shooting a slider
