Bob, no more stickbows?

I had one for many years and it finally broke. Hunted for the past two years without and just bought a replacement. For me, I shoot better with it than any other release, and can hold at full draw longer. Takes a little getting used to, primarily the opportunity to clunk the handle, but once you do, it's a great hunting release.

I have a keeton. I kind of like it, but the anchor isn’t the best and the trigger isn’t great. I keep it as a backup in case i lose my thumb button (Stan Onnex) during a hunt. I have a partially torn labrum and the full grip helps save my shoulder the same way a thumb release does.

I ended up buying a Keeton. The anchor is a little different at first but it is comfortable to draw and allows my shoulder to tolerate more shots in practice. I might still hunt with the Short and SweetR.

I've also tried a Stan Axis and it's real nice to draw but the thumb button learning curve is a little steeper for this old index shooter. I could see punching myself in the mouth at the moment of truth.
