Looking to pick up some sportsmatch rings for a tikka t3x. This will be housing a 1in tube scope will medium rings work for this setup?

How did these rings work out with your scope? I have the Optika5 2-10x42 on the way and thought about picking up a set of the same T048c Sportsmatch rings. I just keep reading that the 1" medium rings are a little too high with a 40"- 42" objective.
If they're a good fit, I think I'd like to go that route.

I put that exact scope/ring combo on a 6.5 for my dad. It’s not as low as possible but not high enough to bother me either.

Ok, thx guys. Looks good to me so I think I'll order a set since the 1" rings are still in stock.
My rifle is an older Tikka M695 (7mm mag), but has the same dovetail. So it should fit about the same.

What did you think about the Sportmatch rings? I have a 44mm Meopta Meopro I want to mount. I tried the Burris 1 inch mediums, but those are a little too high. I can't seem to settle in naturally behind the scope. Looking at @TxxAgg pic I think the Sportmatch rings may work better/be shorter than the medium Burris.

Still waiting for delivery of my Optika but I mounted a 44 mm Zeiss with 1" Sportsmatch rings on my Tikka T3. It sits nice and low. I'm happy with the Sportsmatch.

Bump--I just purchased a Tikka T3X Lite and need Sportsmatch scope rings. i am mounting a Vortex Viper 3-9x40 scope on the gun. The scope has a 1 inch main tube.

What model scope rings do I need? The Sportsmatch T048C Tikka 2 Piece Medium 1 Inch Scope Mount or Sportsmatch T084 2 Piece 30mm Medium Suits Tikka 15mm dovetails?

What scope did you end up going with? I am trying to decide between these two scopes. There isn't much of a weight penalty going with the 3-15 but the 2-10 is shorter which is nice.

Looking at putting a trijicon accupoint 2.5-10x56 on a tikka Lite with a factory steel barre. Anyone got any insight on if I should get mefium or high 30mm rings?
