Sponge painting

Is there a way specific paint or way to sponge paint carbon fiber stock?

It is probably best to use a sponge..... to daub on some paint.

I used spray paint on a piece of cardboard and then ripped pieces off the sponge and dabbed it in it.

Do all one color then layer on the second color. Mine turned out really good.

I finished mine off with a matte clear coat.

Did you use the 2k spray clear coat?
