Was given a ruger to fix as it wouldnt shoot. It was shooting 3 groups. You could just about call where the next round was going to land. Shot pretty good after I tightened up every bolt on the damn gun:ROFLMAO:
Haha so all this taking off and on again of stocks with my recent debacle had me check my other stocks. My front action screw on my 25-06 a bolt 2 could have been loosened with a fingernail. Also, it’s criminal they give a a very shallow flat head screw and then recommend 65 inch pounds.

Interestingly, didn’t change how the gun shot. But it’s bedded.

Get the right screwdrivers then....... That paintcan opener/chisel/craftsman screwdriver aint it.

Though while not made for gunsmithing. I like the lil screwdrivers for a 1/4" drive ratchet. Expecially for stuff like action screws on a m77

Sounds like Form is taking care of you so that's cool. I've never had one fit like that even when bedded. Most of my experience is with a rem700 but there should be some wiggle in there.

If it were mine and I didn't sent it back, I'd lightly glue it to the gun, hog that recoil lug hole out and bed it properly. With it being high. It would be tough because it sounds like you will need an accurate way to deepen the recess in the stock or shave the recoil lug.

You made the right call sending it back. I'm sure they'll take care of you. Tagged in to see the outcome.
