Spine too stiff?

You rarely have to worry about being too stiff. Shoot a high enough profile vane and it’s no problem. Too weak is really when you start having trouble. Target archers shoot crazy over spined arrows extremely accurately.

Im still wondering if the performance from even a 250 spine or 300 spine would make a difference in performance if they’re actually more forgiving.

The issue I also run into is with my bow speed FPS, a lighter arrow would make my sight tape line extremely close. Currently using the dialed Prüf and custom sight tapes, the shorter ranges have the sight tape lines very very close.

How much weight are you shooting and at what draw length? What do your arrows weigh now?

TAW: 485
DL: 28.25
Shooting 80lbs

Chrono’d them on a Garmin and I’m currently at 286 FPS.

They fly pretty good and they’re definitely usable, I’m just really curious if I’d even be able to see or if it would be worth dropping to a 5mm RIP TKO 250 spine

Hmm that's strange.

There's a guy on YouTube called 724 outdoors that sets up his axcel driver just fine and he's shooting 80 lbs and his arrows are lighter than yours. They're at around 305 FPS. And they sell even faster sight tapes.

Also if the lines are close you're not gonna be off if you're off 1 line at longer distances or maybe even more than 1 line if they are extremely close as you describe. Do correct me if I'm wrong though.
