Your arrow would probably be ok on short range shots on smaller bodied animals like pronghorn or some whitetails with a good cut on contact broadhead...For Elk, NO....You need to be at atleast 400grs...I wouldn't worry as much about speed "and I like fast bows" but about arrow weight.
A low poundage bow and a light arrow is a bad combo for something the size of an elk....Even a big midwest whitetail can take some some work to get an arrow through one on a less than perfect shot.
