REM Match is cut to accept heavier projectiles more conducive to LR shooting. This rifle was ran with 140 Berger hybrids.Forgive me for not knowing the answer, but is a 260 REM Match different than a basic 260 hunting round? I have a Remington Model 7 in 260 I use for deer hunting. Just wasnt sure what the difference is, but I assume the REM Match will need handloaded?
Box ammo will chamber fine. Whether it shoots as well as hand loads or not is not possible to answer without trying. So handloads only then? Not Hornady Match ammo?
