Spartan Javelin Height?

Looking at getting a Spartan Javelin, wondering if most folks find the regular or long legs most useful? Plan to use for general western/my hunting. Also, any major reason to get the Tac version?

I prefer the long version for hunting. The only time I like the regular is if it's going to be dedicated to bench shooting.

The Tac legs are nice when speed is a top priority so I use them for competitions. I don't like them as much for hunting since I'm rarely in that big a hurry and they make noise. My preferred bipod for backcountry hunting is the Javelin Pro Hunt with long legs.

I really don't like twist lock legs on a bipod where time may be a concern so I was happy to see the tac legs released.
