Spartan arrows and Gold Tip Weights

Does anyone know if:
1. Gold tip weights are compatible with BEA Spartan inserts? Specifically, do the threads match so that I can screw them into the back of the inserts?
2. Will the Gold tip .166 diameter weights and the GT micro FACT wrench fit through the opening in the Spartan nock bushing so that I can install them in the Spartan insert without removing the nock bushing?

I know you can used the BEA Rampage weights in this fashion, but the lowest weight they offer is 30 grains, and I don't want to go buy a scale and bench grinder to modify $8 of weights.

1. The threads are 8-32 on the Spartan inserts.

The threads on a gold tip insert and spartan insert are the same. Looks like they fit!
