I’ve used it as a rear rest with varied success but only in range situations. The quick sticks in general work great. I’m not sure about the the spartan on the rear of the stock.

Sorry, I plan to use it on the forend.

Is the magnet strong enough to pickup your shoot sticks when connected to the quickclip?
