Pretty new to Oregon. my buddy’s kid drew an evens creek deer tag for late season . Looking for any info I can to help him be successful in getting his first buck. I’m going to head down scouting in the next week and try to learn the ground out of Milo area. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated

Should be a neat hunt.

Lotta logging going on in that country right now. That late in the year the snow might be determining where you are goona hunt

Being that late in the year, you might have luck with a mineral lick. I generally don’t hear about foolish having much action with them during the general season, but as all the best natural food starts dwindling they might be more interested.

I think that’s would work great if I had more time to get them established in the area
