As above. Wondering what you guys use that I can pick up locally that would work in the Rogerson/Murphy's area. I know the area can be very rocky making some of the more traditional anchors useless. Will be hunting last two weeks of the month. We'll have a hi lift jack, plywood and 3/8 chain and etc. Wondering what size/type rope you guys use for 1/2 T pickup as well. Or other gear I'm not thinking of. Thanks.

I would really recommend maxtrax traction devices, simple and very effective

2nd the maxtrax or similar traction devices. Ditch the plywood. You can get out of almost anything with those.

Any of the stretchy straps are excellent. ARB, Bubba rope, ect.

Large long anchors and a huge sledge. You will have to leave the anchors in the rock or kill yourself trying to retrieve them.Next peson will need them also.

Thanks for the input guys. Forgot to mention chains on all four. Where in Boise mt home or twin Falls can I pick up the max trax. Same with the pull pal. Found price for max trac but not the pull pal.

Recommend watching a few videos on how to use the maxtrax. Also I am pretty sure that if you used them with the chains on, it may mess them up.

Our Deadman Off-road has more than paid for it's self the two times I have needed it. Doesn't take up much space at all, if you have a winch they are worth looking in to.

4wheelparts carries the ARB tred brand of the traction boards. There is a store in Boise. I'd call and make sure they have them in stock though.

Thanks guys. Posted on MM as well. One suggestion was Mule Tape, look into it, looks very useful for a lot of applications. I’ll call on the ARBs tomorrow see if available. 18th can’t come quick enough. Keep em coming guys. Thanks again

winch,
minimum 4 shackles,
snatch block,
maxtrax,
30' tow strap,
8' tree saver,
bubba rope,
pull-pal,
mud rated snow chains for all four tires.

Don't use plywood it will not give you any traction especially if there is any moisture at all.
I stopped carrying a chain as I never really could find a use for it.
