Why on earth wouldn't you just go see a doctor? You prep all year for a 10 day hunt that can be brought to a screeching halt with a foot problem.....Dr, dr, dr, dr,
Yeah because doctors fix everything..... so ill go to the doctor with no symptoms at the moment and try to have them diagnose the issue... that's going to be helpful.

I didn't rush out last year after it happened because I always give things time to heal and see how they feel. As some have said, the human body can do crazy things.

I have carpal tunnel currently, a problem with my left hip, and I already have signs of arthritis in both knees.. if I jumped and ran to the doctor for every pain I ever had id be broke, literally... So I try and save money and time by asking you guys with experience before I rush out and spend money on things I could fix myself. I don't know about you but I don't take my truck to the shop at the first funny noise I hear, I investigate it myself.

Sell your current boots and get something else just make sure to push them through the paces before your trip.

As has been said previously on this thread, you most likely have Achilles tendinitis, possibly from something called a Haglund's deformity or more likely from a right gastrocnemius muscle. Look up a structured Achilles stretching program, and if that doesn't improve your symptoms, try a different boot (or try one sooner with the Achilles program). If your symptoms don't improve, go see a foot and ankle-trained orthopedic surgeon. You could always go see someone sooner as well. September really isn't that far away...
