Sootting scope tree mount

I have a few spots along a river that I'd like to glass, but it will only work if I could get high enough in a tree. I saddle hunt so getting up a tree won't be an issue, a stable mount for a spotting scope will be. Has anyone come up with a clever way to mount a spotting scope in a tree? I tried searching, but wasn't able to come up with anything. Maybe not a common practice?

Weld a 2 inch square piece of steel on a GRK construction screw, then srew it into the tree and attach your spotter with a window mount. I was going to make one of these but there are so few trees near me it is not worth it.
