Sony rx10 IV ?

Looking at purchasing a Sony rx10 IV ( I don't believe there is a newer model). But the price is a bit more then I can come up with at the moment. Not in any hurry at all. So my questions are, where is the best place to purchase, and i can wait for like a black Friday or some annual sales event ?

Thought they came out in 2018 ? Most reviews I’ve read are hoping for a version V, as the IV is out dated.

The 4 has zero competition. It is far from outdated. This camera is fantastic. It's not designed to be a cinema camera, though the videos r amazing at the price point. The stills and features associated with it are fantastic
