I'm looking to sell my sony a5000 camera body. It's been a great camera but I am upgrading to something newer. I've had it for less than a year and it is in like new shape. It's a great entry level camera. Looking for $175 tyd

Just the body or does it have the standard 16-50mm lens?

I got mine for $200. No regrets. A good camera for certain.
Thank you sir, it's a great little camera. Due to people finding them for 200 right now I'll drop the price to $175 tyd. Somebody grab it!

How much does a lens cost for this body?
It takes your typical sony e mount lenses. You can find lenses from $60 to $1k depending on the brand and quality you're looking for. There's some great starter prime lenses on Amazon listed at $100-$200

Long time Sony user here.

For the A5000, you will want the 55-210 for range outdoors (there is also a 1.7x telextender for it), the 16-50mm for everyday stuff, and the 35mm f1.8 for indoor / family events.

Personally, I would consider the A5000 more of an indoor camera - however I did use it in the field extensively a few years back and the pictures were stunning for the size and weight.

Back up top. Would also trade for some firstlite/ Sitka pieces. Or maybe some kifaru gear
