We weren’t sure if my son would have much time to hunt this deer season beyond this opening weekend…so we hit the mountain looking for a buck. Passed up a couple spikes and a 1x2 day 1. Tried a different drainage this morning and found this little 3 point buck and he decided it was good enough for him. 1 shot at 141 yards with his 6.5 tikka/139 scenar combo. Deer went 10 feet and died. The scenar busted the lower front leg and exit out the other side. Massive damage. Bone crushers!
