I have a pair of quest boots that are a few years old now but absolutely love. The only problem I have come across is in slipprier conditions the traction struggles. Has anybody had this problem in a new model?

I have the newest model and ran into the same thing during an archery elk hunt last year. We had hard rain one night and fog the next morning. We crossed a rockier face and I was slipping all over. The boots are the best In dry conditions but I’m in the market for better boots in case of weather.

Funny you should say that. I have a pair of these boots too and was wondering if they were slippery just to me or others too. Mine are fine in the snow around town etc., but not awesome in slippery conditions on the trail. I have had mine for a couple of years and just started leaking a little bit in heavy wet snow. Been a terrific boot for early archery seasons and dry hunts well into fall for me. I wear my Crispi Guide GTX when the snow stacks up as that is where they shine.
