I’m still shooting my solo cam from 2009. No need to change or get caught up in the marketing hype with $1500 bows!

Still popping em with a McPherson Hornet. They were a local bow company that got bought out in the 90s by....
Matthews. Imagine that.

So quiet. So easy to tune.

The Switchback is the one Mathews I actually liked when I shot it and was a great bow. Never bought it though as I had a Bowtech Patriot II at the time.

I'm not 100% sure on the entire history, but I dont think it was quite that simple.

And Mathews is Matt McPherson..

Perhaps not, but it's all the history I got. They were about 40 miles from me when in business, and one of the prior owner's re-strung my bow for me a couple years back.

Regardless, not here to argue bidness history that I was not involved in anyway. The bows work.

Matt McPherson started the company and he IS the brains of the op. My first was the q2 and my favorite was probably either the outback or SBxt. Also ad the LX, fx, both SB's, both Z7's, and I think the nocam was the last one I had.

Since then: chill r, halon, triax, vxr, v3

Still use mine, just got a new V3, and sold it. Going back to same old same old.

Taking my Ultra-Max out for the Haul road this year! I'm not gonna say its the best or smoothest bow, but she still shoots and I don't really want to replace er...

Didn't realize they were so popular,! I've got a all black switchback if sell if anyone is interested.
I've kept it as a backup bow for the last 3 years but it's not doing me any good hanging on its peg. Maybe somebody can get some great use out of it.
