Solo hunter packer needed for CO Unt 65 2nd Rifle

Looking for recommendations on a packer in CO Unit 65. I have the time off to be out the entire 2nd rifle and planning on being flexible between some base camp at the rental truck and some BIVY hunting. I have a deer tag and will also be hunting Elk OTC. I am from NJ so if I am lucky near the end of the season I will need some help. I appreciate the recommendations.

You will need to contact the outfitter who holds the permits in the area that you plan on hunting. You can’t legally just hire any guy who has horses and says he will pack out your game for you.

PM me where (generally) you’re planning on hunting - wilderness area or national forest? I’ve hunted solo in there and used the different permitted outfitters to pack so may be able to help.

listen carefully to the folks that know the area. it may not be easy to get a packer on short notice.
