I've used the Caldwell version some. I'm not surprised if it's a little heavier than the Solo Hunter, as it's not really lightweight fabric. I really like it for those climbs in the dark.

What have any of you done to restore the fabric’s water repellency? Mine is four or five years old and the fabric is starting to hold some water.
