So I wanted to turn my fellow Roksliders on to a kickin deal I found on Archerytalk.
I recently found and purchased some arrows from a Company called Deer Crossing Archery. The company is owned and ran by a guy named Bart Lawhorn. He used to be the Manager for Victory Arrows. hes been in the business for 20+ years and is now selling his own arrow line. Currently he only sells 500 400 350 spine. But he has plans to launch more. You can get 1 dozen fletched arrows for 61$ Dollars to your door. And they are great quality Straightness is within .003 I believe. They come with Fletch Knock and inserts. Very good quality and shoot just fine. I even put a few arrows into a 2x4 and they held up great. Here is the link to his website.

Stats are:

.246 Inner Diameter

Spines (weights in Grains Per Inch)
350 (7.94 GPI)
400 (7.61 GPI)
500 (6.77 GPI)

Used go be with Victory. Then started Harvest Time and sold that to Muddy outdoors. What's the plan with this one?

I shot the Harvest Time for awhile. The hunting arrows were fine. The fat target arrows were very inconsistent.

I don't get it, why does this guy keep starting arrow companies, leaving them and starting another?

Its all about making money Krav. I wasnt aware he started other companies. I know he used to work for other Arrow Companies but then he started up Deer Crossing. I have talked to Bart many times. Seems like a Solid guy and am very impressed with the arrows he sells. Trying to get him to start up some Traditional arrows.

Your right: Found this post....

History:

Archery Rep
World and National 3D Champion
General Manager of Victory Archery
Product Brand Manager for Horton Archery
Owner of Harvest Time Archery
Brand Manager for Bloodsport/Muddy Arrows

I'm just surprised none of those other companies made him sign a noncompete clause in their contracts.

Actually there was a post where he said he had one after leaving Victory and had to wait a year before opening up shop.

You can always make it up with heavier Broadheads. Im shooting 150s off these they are working great.

I saw this thread on Friday morning really early and was curious enough to send in an online order for a dozen for myself and a dozen for my son. The arrows were at the post office this morning at 9:00 A.M. Hope to give them a try later today. Pleasantly surprised, so far.

You wont be disappointed. They are very nice arrows and Bart does a great job building them. They shoot great.

yes they are 31 5/8ths from end of the insert to the end of the nock. I shoot a 32 inch arrow (31 inch draw) and these work great for me.

So I just made Pro Staff member for Deer Crossing Archery. If anyone is interested in ordering some arrows let me know I can get you setup and going. These arrows are nice.
