Solid Broadheads

I picked some up this past season with a 30% off coupon my local bow shop had. Haven't had a chance to shoot them but they are super sharp and well built!!!

Tried solids this year and they flew pretty well but broke the ferrule first doe I shot with one. Solid lived up to their guarantee and replaced it no picture required didn't want it sent back just asked for my address and said it would be in the mail that day. If you look at the ferrule that to me is the obvious weak point especially after I saw where it broke. I think the blades are great but the ferrule attachment to the blade needs some work. Four little tiny posts on an already thin ferrule are all that hold the blades straight.

Maybe a little wind whistle.
I've only heard noise whistle on the German Kinetics if you use the 150 grain heads.

Gonna give these a try with a set of injections. Everyone's comments about superior flight and accuracy has definitely hit my triggers. I've got a couple 100gr GK's I bought 10 yrs ago but the last ones I put together had them kinda noisy. And that was with both a 3.6" and 2" set of vanes on separate shafts.

I haven't had noise issues with either the 100's or 125's in GK.

I've only shot some of the original 100 grain solids and they flew very well but did have a slight wind noise.
Killed a wild goat, a turkey and a fallow deer with them in New Zealand last year and those animals didn't seem to hear the wind noise!

I have shot the 100 and 125 bh, with the smaller and larger bleeders. They fly great, regardless, and I have never felt like they whistled or made any excessive noise. I will use them again this year, along w Helix 125.

While the Solids are good heads, if you're willing to spend the money, check out the Trophy Taker A-TACs. Especially if you use Deep Six, cause they have a titanium collar/footer that actually goes over the shaft of the arrow. Amazing heads.
