What are some of everyone's favorite socks for active hunting with lots of hiking? Any good suggestions for thicker socks to take up extra volume in a boot that has a little too much extra room in it?

Ditto for darn tough. Can buy the blems at tj max or marshalls sometimes for $4.

I have several pairs of the Darn Tough in various lengths and cushion. I love them. I’m pretty disappointed that it took me so long to find out about them and give them a try. I rarely ever wear cotton socks anymore. I also have some of the Farm to Feet socks and I do not like them near as much. Just not the same quality to me.

I wear darn toughs everyday. Mid calf light. I also have some thicker ones, but I prefer the thinner.

smart wool and darn tough are good. For non wool I really like the socks Stone Galcier is selling.

If you like solid colors black, brown, green, tan

Darn tough T4021 one and done sock

Use em for hiking, hunting, patrol, and daily wear unless I need low cut

T4022 are thicker but I only have one pair and use em for sleep socks on the trail

I’ve used darn tough, smartwool and KUIU. The KUIU are the most technical by far and I can wear them for a few days without needing to swap them out. Darn tough can be found for a lot cheaper, but I need to wash or change them more frequently.

I think I'm seeing a pattern here. Plenty of good socks on the market. None better than Darn Tough. I have 2 pairs of their full cussion synthetic boot height socks. Love them and want to try the merinos.

I must be the only person that thought Farm 2 Feet are much more comfortable than Darn Tough. Tried several models/weights of each and the F2F always win for me.
Agree the DT have way too well defined segments for me for extended periods.
