Sock liners only

Anybody using Kenetrek liners -only in warm weather or cold weather

I just purchased some Fox River liner socks. It’s been years since I wore liner socks so I’m giving them a try again soon. If they work I’ll probably get a some Kennetreks. I’m also interested if anyone is using the Kennetreks

I bet you could, it seems like the new tan Kennetrek liners are more like socks than liners. I REALLY liked the old black Kennetrek liners but I think the new liners are way to thick. I asked the Kennetrek rep about the new vs. old liners recently and he said they beefed the liners up because they were getting too many black ones returned because of holes. Strange because I have about 10 pairs that I've worn for years and have absolutely no holes. Similarly they removed the hard lace loop on the tongue of the hardscrabbles and mountain extremes because people kept ripping them off. I liked those too....

I have the tan ones. They are definitely thick like a sock. I was expecting something much thinner like a dress sock. The liners under the kenetrek mid weight socks are too thick to wear with my Lowas or me Vasque hiking boots.
I’ll keep them and try them in some warmer weather
