I recently decided my truck gun/ coyote rifle needed to be threaded to mount a suppressor and my options were have my trusty savage axis 243 threaded or pick up a new rifle. This lead me to trading another rifle into a Ruger American g2 in 6.5 creedmoor. I wanted another 243 but my lgs store called his distributor while I was there and 243 were months out and he had this rifle on the rack so I caved. My PRS rifle is also 6.5 creed so wasn’t the end of the world.
Finally got a chance to go shoot it today and I’ll say I’m very impressed so far. I took 4 kinds of ammo and all of them shot more or less to the same point of aim in more or less the same group sizes ranging from 95 gr to 143gr. It was 2* out and I only had one box of each so didn’t get to shoot past 100yds or bigger than bout 5 round groups but still I think this rifle will be a keeper!
Also got a chance to shoot my new tikka prs rifle and It didn’t disappoint either!
