SO Cimarron vs kifaru supertarp

I know this is like comparing apples to oranges but, these are what I narrowed it down to. I've never spent a night in a floorless and haven't spent many in a tent.
So.... I don't know what I like or dislike. Can anyone help me out? Pros and cons,
ins and out and maybe someone who has experience with both can chime in.

You’ll be able to stand up in the middle of the cimmaron, not in the super tarp. Love kifaru stuff but I think the seek would be a better option with the two given. A better comparison would prob be sawtooth and cimmaron in my opinion

Go with the Cimarron...super tarp you'll need to crawl in there and it's tight with gear and if you use a stove, plus the stove's pipe angle is super close to the annex.
One thing cool about the super tarp: it pack down super small.

Cimarron is better in every ways IMO.

I had the sawtooth and the two poles design with snow load SUCKS,I was not impressed about it...but again the pack down capability was nice.

I had a seek 6 man few years ago and it was a really nice tent, standing room was awesome.

pluses, weight, packability, durability, options on how to use it, small footprint bombproof quick setup
negatives
one only
very little room if spending time other than sleeping
cocoon like
for young bodies
to use a stove it needs to be small and found small stove just not worth it IMO

cimarron
pluses
several options to choose from two doors lite version and dcf
great for two
room to move a little and not crawling all the time if not over 6 ft tall
room to dry things
very durable
great with a stove
very quick pitch
negative footprint size may limit your site location
does not compress as much

the supertarp performed as I wanted but the cimarron is just more enjoyable Especially if in wet/cool/cold weather and where a stove is a real benefit

I don't think you'll be as comfortable in a tent as you are at home.

Ross pretty much covered the tradeoffs. My buddy runs the tarp and I the cimmaron. He's a minimalist and I accept the weight penalty of certain comforts (namely, a stove and space to dry gear on wet, cold adventures).

I haven’t run the kifaru but I have a SO tipi and ran a tent before that. Hard to go back to anything else. Easy to set up, lightweight and plenty of room. I got used to the floorless a lot quicker than I expected.
