Snowy Mnt Barrels - Carbon Barrel Blanks

Does anyone have any feedback good or bad on the Snowy Mtn Carbon Fiber Barrels that are being sold at Redhawk? Come already cut at 5/8x24 on the muzzle with thread cap. Cheaper than a proof. Profile looks to finish a bit smaller as well.

Thought I was sold a on Proof, but found these last night and they have me intrigued, but not a lot of information out there on them.

Can I ask why you want carbon wrapped over a regular SS barrel? In my experience carbon barrels are much more prone to "walk" when hot and/or just be finicky overall.
You can save yourself $300-$400 by just going SS.

That being said, for the price, I would choose the Benchmark barrels that they have for the extra $25, or the Bartlein one for the same price.
