Snow.....what's your hobby?

Grew up with sleds and loved that but went to college so I had to sell mine. Haven’t bought another one.

Snowboarding is fun and wish I could find someone to go with more often. It’s expensive and I am cheap so there is that.

I love to ice fish but can’t find someone to go with me consistently. I use to go by myself but went through the ice once and will never go by myself again.

Damn i miss boarding sometimes, first 16 years in CA,started snowboarding when there were only a couple resorts that would allow snowboarding, got some nasty looks. First board was a Sims Craig Kelly,back when they weren't meant to be ridden switch stance......ahhh the memories

I have 3 young children so I spend most of the winter getting them dressed, putting gloves back on, wiping buggers off faces, cleaning snow out of their boots, finding lost gloves..... You know all the really fun shit

Ice fish, ride snowmobiles and follow beagles. Our rabbit population is so low I very rarely shoot them but I still love hearing the dogs and I’ll shoot 1out of 10 or so just so they don’t forget why we do it.

That was the punk rock days of snowboarding, when skiers hated you and wouldn’t share lifts with you.

Times have certainly changed: snowboarding is credited with “saving” the entire ski industry back in the late 90s/early 2000s when ski sales hit a sharp decline. These days, the ski companies have all redesigned their profiles based off of snowboard R&D of blended rocker and camber zones and skiers have even taken over the terrain parks which used to be exclusively snowboarders. You’ll even see 65+ year old snowboarders out these days.
