Like weed isn't EVERYWHERE, legal or not.
More where it’s “legal”. Most of the “legal” stuff is still controlled by Cartels. If you smoke it you’re contributing to all that.

Contrary to the popular belief by potheads everywhere though most people DONT smoke dope. I can see how one would think that if they surround themselves with other dope smokers though.

I don't smoke pot. Or use it in any other form.

If you think it's not pervasive across all parts and levels of society, you're delusional. It's not the cause of "urban crime"

You need to open your mind. The potheads of America are supporting the cartels and having an adverse affect on the American dream.
I'm not arguing that.

I'm saying it's not connected to the legal status or isolated to parts of society.

It's not even always the people you think. I know very successful lawyers who are daily users.

Yes, as i ALREADY STATED legalization increases use.

That being said NOONE in my circle of influence smokes pot. It’s not as pervasive as you or potheads would have people believe. We are all 25-65 yo medical or healthcare professionals. Legalization doesn’t mean employers don’t drug test and you can’t handle narcotics and various other controlled substances if you’re smoking dope. Doesn’t matter if it’s legal in your state or not.

But either way, smoking pot definitely does have negatives and causes many problems in society. It is imported/distributed through urban areas and most definitely increases crime in those areas, legalized or not. If you think cartels are illegally smuggling large amounts of pot to small rural areas you’re delusional. It’s then distributed out from those urban centers.

Bottom line though if you’re smoking pot you’re contributing to the problems it brings. Not sure why just living a sober life is so hard for folks.

It is very hard to determine net positives or negatives on subjects like this. Most of the studies are biased by the people doing and paying for the studies. One thing that should be obvious to all of us is, the war on drugs is one of the biggest failures of the modern world. Billions of dollars spent over decades and there is still easy access to any drug in all of our cities. Lives are ruined everyday by addiction. Making hard drugs legal like in the NW is not the answer. I don't know what the answer is but making something illegal and declaring war on it is not the answer.

I had a friend that used to smoke. When up in his tree stand he'd light up. I could smell it over a hundred yards away in my stand and/or while still hunting. A lot of deer came my way. I would intentionally set up down wind of him if I could.

I am a stoner thug, ask me anything. Also, I can say for a fact that pot is the only thing standing up the Mexican cartels, through their large and lucrative weed trade they are killing our American dream.

Had a friend who had a pet deer. That deer would eat cigarettes like they were candy. My friend was by far the most knowledgeable and prolific deer hunter I have ever met. He smoked about a pack and a half a day, hunting or not.
