Smith & Wesson 460 Performance Center XVR .460 S&W Mag 12" fluted barrel, Stainless Revolver with Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x32 Handgun Scope

The Smith & Wesson Model 460
X-treme Velocity Revolver is a large bore five-shot, dual rail, single-action/double-action revolver by Smith & Wesson chambered for the .460 S&W Magnum cartridge. Aside from the .460 S&W Magnum cartridge, the revolver can also chamber .454 Casull, .45 Colt, and .45 Schofield ammunition. The S&W cartridge is the highest velocity production revolver, while being the most powerful .45 caliber production revolver in the world, launching a 200-grain bullet at 2,330 feet per second, generating 2,416 foot-pounds force of muzzle energy.

I am the original owner of both the revolver and scope and the pkg is in excellent condition. I have a decent stockpile of ammo that will be made available to the buyer of the rig after the sale.

$2250.00 shipped CONUS for the pkg

I didn't hunt this thing a whole lot, but I did take it out into the hill country enough to create some good mojo with it. The gun shoots very impressive groups @ 200 yards with the Hornady 200 grain SST and I shot the blackbuck at a bit over 140 yards with that load. The Buffalo Bore 360 grain lead flat nose is a beast of a load, but it's a little harder to control the recoil of it. I was still able to get good hunting accuracy with the heavier load but the ease of shooting the lighter Hornady bullet produced better accuracy.
