For Sale: Smith&Wesson Model 29-2 .44mag. 8 3/8 barrel.
Based on the serial number this was produce 1979-1980. It has the pinned and recessed barrel.
I don't believe it has ever been fired, except by the factory if they actually test fired them then.
There are some light scratch marks on the underside of the barrel that can be seen in certain light. It has a slight cylinder turn ring that can also be seen under certain light. It has the original display case cleaning rod etc. Display box has some scratches on the outside.
It is excellent shape: I've seen these on gunbroker/gun-international and other places from 1800-2500.
