Slik svh 501 options?

I’m currently using this head for swaro ats 65 and big pod Binos adaptor. I was wondering if there was any comparable adaptor system that would allow easier/quicker connections between switching optics. An additional adaptor plate is $40, so perhaps I just upgrade to a different head? Any advice is appreciated..

The Slik head is Arca Swiss compatible, probably the most widely available plate pattern for optics and cameras around today. You don't have to buy a Slik branded one, just buy some cheap Arca Swiss plates on Amazon and keep them around.

Switching heads won't solve your problem, you just need a few more plates. Not uncommon to need to buy multiple plates for a setup to work. Unless you have optics that have an integral Arca Swiss foot (such as the new ones from Vortex), you'll end up buying a few plates to have around.

If the ATS was purchased within the last 2 years the base is Arca compatible and you don't need a plate
