Funny you posted this as I had been looking and saw they changed the model totally and I am not liking the newer version. I contacted the owner with my concerns about bar on the new one rubbing on the butt of the stock and the other end being open and possibly allowing the rifle to kick out. I think they are relying on the “Cam Action” of the new model to sort of lock the gun in place. I was going to order one based on all of the feedback here on the site and I was too late. Old model was better to me.

I purchased the V2 a week before the V3 came out, used it on a southern AZ deer hunt, worked great
