Slik Sling on Exo

I've been using a slik sling on my old exo pack, but I don't love that it seems like the rifles is rubbing against my back when I'm hiking. I have the barrel strap ran through the hole in the fabric at the top of the frame where the load lifters come out. In slik sling's installation video, they use a mystery ranch pack that has a much more obvious tie off point.

Is there anyone else using a slik sling on an exo pack that has found a better tie-off point at the top? I searched the forum and couldn't turn up any previous discussions on this.

Tag for the same thing maybe I’ll mess around some when I get home from bow hunting and see what I can figure out

My Slik Sling tie off point is the grab handle at the top of my K3 frame. Haven't noticed any issues resulting from this.
