Sleeping pad slide? No more

Sleeping pad slide in your tent, or does your sleeping bag slide off your pad?
I used kitchen and bath silicon and laid several crossing patterns on my pad on each side.
It doesn't move an inch anymore!

Beads peal off….half a dozen very thin stripes of diluted silicone or seam seal work great

I just put the pad inside my bivy or bag. I tend to wake up 12 feet away otherwise.

IMO the stripes work better, more of a thin, wide smear than a tall, narrow bead. Very durable.

I agree with above; dilute silicone with mineral spirits and apply with a syrette. Other than that, pure genius!

I used the most expensive kitchen and bath Loctite silicon I could find. Only have 3 night on the pad, but it shows zero signs of the peeling or pulling off. I did smear it into the fabric, which I think helps.

I’ve had smears on my pad for 5+ years, and other than having picked up some dirt it looks like when I did it.

I did this to a Klymit Static V at least 5 years ago. It has stuck just fine. I think I just used clear 100% silicone, and smeared it down flat a bit.

It's amazing how well it works.

Ive went back to foam pads for this reason unless its super cold. Not as comfortable but I somehow sleep better. May give this a shot thanks

Little bump on this
After 2 years and probably about 30 nights on this pad, I love the silicon, there's nearly no slide.
