sleeping bag

Ok , so this is a very vague question. There are miles of posts on sleeping bags on this site. Search function is your friend. I would suggest doing some research first ,then come back and ask specific questions. Buddy has a stone Glacier 15, it is a solid bag. Would not buy one myself as they are built to fit guys to 6'4'' and I am only 5'6''. I do not want to carry the extra weight and deal with tying off the end to keep my feet warm.

I'm 5'8" and have never felt like I needed to tie off the end.

I agree with the rest of your post. The stone glacier bags have probably been mentioned hundreds of times.

Argali's bags would be a strong contender if I were buying today.

at 5'9" I have never felt the need to tie off the end of my SG 0 degree bag. Love that bag - there IS a reason why they are so well regarded on here - they deserve it.

Feathered Friends, Western Mountaineering.

I have bags from both. They have both been doing it for 50 plus years at this point and there is good reason for that.

Pick a size, pick a temp rating and I doubt you will be disappointed. If somehow they don’t have a size and temp rating to what you want, they will overfill their bags if you give them a call.

People talk highly of stone glacier and the new Argali bags, I just don’t have experience with them, as I’ve not needed a new bag in the last decade.

I have the SG15 bag. I think it is a great bag and the only complaint I have is the length. I am 5'9 and would like a regular option as well. I toss and turn all night and have no restrictions within the SG. I have no experience with the bag, but the Sitka hyperdown 15 bag is on sale at Al's for 50% off. I think that kind of discount merits some research into the bag. I believe there is a Rokslide review of the bag as well.
