The room is quite good. I’m 5’11”, 190 lb and I have the long version. It’s very comfortable for me and I generally find mummy bags to be difficult to sleep in because they are too constraining. The only thing I can’t speak to is durability since I have less than 20 nights in it, but so far it’s held up without any problems.

+1 for the Magma. If you wait around you can find them on sale or wait for REI to send you a 20% off coupon. For that money - it's a hard bag to beat.

Got an REI magma 15 bag for Xmas. Looking forward to testing it out this fall but so far it’s been a great bag. Super warm, comfortable, lightweight, and at a reasonable price. Pairing it with a sea to summit liner so should be perfect for September in the mountains.

Love my Kifaru Slick Bag. I run cold so I got the 0 degree bag. It's warm and not having to worry about it getting wet is really nice. Only downside is that it's bulky and doesn't compress down super small. For my needs/preferences, it's worth it.
