Another vote for a long/wide quilt.

I picked up a 10 degree long/wide EE on here for cheap and I love it! I've used it for everything from summer scouting trips to car camping in 0 degree nights last November for a late muzzleloader hunt.

If he's not in a hurry to get one I'd consider letting mine go at the end of the season, I'm thinking about upgrading to the treated down version.
