These are optically no different than the all green version. They do have a smoother focuser, a smoother textured armor (same as EL), and a shorter close focus.

According to the guys on bird forum in 2013 Swarovski changed the internal mechanics of the SLC to lower the price. Much like they did to the EL in the last couple years. These predate that change so they are theoretically better, although for hunting purposes they are the same. I personally think these feel better in hand and I enjoy the smoother focus.
