Sky Rover Banner Cloud 10x42 binocular review

Direct. I have ordered a ton of inexpensive sewing parts and accessories from China off eBay, but didn't feel great about ordering an unfamiliar brand through a third party eBay seller.

Over the products not being authentic or what?

They keep telling me the binos are sold out and/or are on back-order.

A few concerns:

- That if the products are in stock they the most recent versions (there have been some tweaks to eyecups and such over time)
- That the products are authentic
- That the seller actually has models in stock and isn't simply ordering on my behalf (eBay sellers claim to have 15x56 in stock, while Sky Rover says they're out of stock)
- That the seller isn't engaged in a triangulation scam so common on eBay

FWIW, if you were looking at the 15x56, I asked Sky Rover about them, and they'll be in stock in a couple of weeks.

Got it. Thanks for the thorough reply.

I am in fact liking the 15's. I am also a fan of 8x as well but the 6x with the 12.2* FOV has me VERY intrigued.

Has anyone in here bought the 6x? Thoughts?

I ordered direct from the Sky Rover website, I think it costs the same and I expect you will get better support. I have emailed back and forth with them a bit and they have always responded within 24 hours. I got the 10x42's with the new style eye cups. They still seem large for my liking, so I emailed them and they are sending me the 44mm eyecups free of charge when they are back in stock.
I have only used the 10's in my back yard so far, but will be out hunting in a week so will have a better 'real life' perspective. I'll compare them to my bx-4's, which I realize are not top tier binos, but cost the same here in Canada.

Definitely intriguing. If the 6x were a smaller form factor, I'd want a pair. I have a hard time eschewing my Swaro pockets though, and keep coming back to them for offhand glassing.
