Send wife, In-Laws and family to Golden Corral - stay home and finish up your skull
I don’t even know what Golden Corral is lol. Doesn’t maceration take well over 3 days? Can I rinse and simmer from here with good results?

Take skull out and gently hose off any chunks, keep macerating.
Dont boil or simmer

I’m in day 3 of macerating my first deer I’ve harvested. Small cooler, aquarium heaters. Detached garage, 1/4 acre, and neighbors all around. Dang she’s stanky! I’m panicking about what to do with the water now 🤣 my wife is about to castrate me, we have in-laws and family coming for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
I couldn’t see myself doing one this way, specially after reading this comment, hahahaha.

I am ~5 hours from skinned skull to a completely clean skull that’s ready to sit next to the stove for a few days and dry before getting bleached (or painted, hehe). I crank up the Turkey boiler on the deck and let it go to town on a Sunday morning for 4-4.5 hours while I load bullets, shoot off the porch, play with the kid, etc. It doesn’t smell like roses, but not nearly as bad as what you’re describing.

I do give my skulls to the chickens (hang them in the coop) to chew on for a week or two before boiling. They get the big chunks off for me, eat the eyes out, etc. they honestly do a pretty good job with it.
