Anyone have experience/thoughts of the Skre Nebo rain gear? I have a goat hunt this fall on Kodiak and my current rain gear is definitely not up to the task. Wondering if it’s worth saving a couple hundred bucks by going with the Nebo system, or if I should just suck it up and buy Kuiu/Sitka/First Light/ect.

I’ve got the Nebo rain gear (purchased three years ago for a fly-in moose out of Fairbanks). It is durable and kept me dry, no complaints. My hunting partners all had Sitka rain gear. One noticeable difference is that Sitka uses a softer and quieter material. That said, the Nebo is still quiet enough that it can be used for close-order hunting. A feature about the Nebo that I, personally, would change is that rather than regular belt loops in the pants, they have attached elastic bands with metal hooks at the waist that stretch forward and hook into loops allowing for adjustment. They are constructed this way to facilitate quick deployment of caught in the rain. I can appreciate that, but I simply prefer a regular belt.
