Has anyone gotten a chance to try out the Skre Guardian jacket or bibs? They seem like a good option for late season whitetail. I'm wondering how they compare to the Firstlite Sanctuary jacket and bibs.

@skregear maybe you know the answer.
Not sure if anyone on the forum has gotten to tried them yet as they were just released this week.

really warm jacket has a hood that doesn't cover your ears when on so you can still hear everything. it even fits over a blizzard beanie. the lack of insulation in the bottom section makes its really comfy for sitting down. the only thing i would do to make it better is to make a blaze orange hood that you can change out for gun season

Mine came got delivered today. Man talk about a sweet jacket. It feels super warm and is whisper quiet. Should be perfect for bow hunting. I liked it so much I just ordered the bibs and a pair of late season pants too.

It is not as bulky as some of the other winter clothes that I have. I can bow hunt with it without any interference issues.

I know this is an older thread but I was wondering what you guys thought about the guardian bibs and jacket. Have you got to use them much? What did you have before? Thanks.

my other really cold tempo coat is a cabelas stand hunter but it has to be in the teens for me wear that. when its 30-40 i normally wear sitka celsius with a fanatic vest if no rain or snow or i wear a badlands venture jacket

it should be warmer due to being water and wind proof its pretty close to the design of the sitka incinerator jacket

i wear mine with the fanatic bibs and with the lack of insulation in the coat tail and the bottom little in the front work well together and but if i didn't have the fanatic i would get the matching set but i don't care about matching camo

How do you feel the solace camo pattern blends in with your hunting conditions? Michigan? I'm assuming mixture of hardwoods and crop stubble? Online pictures look like it's a very light based pattern.
