Ski Bibs that would double as fishing bibs

I live near the gulf coast and trout and redfish out of a boat. I am also going to Steamboat for the first time in a while and my old Marmot ski pants need an upgrade. In the spring and fall, I could use a set of bibs on the boat for fishing. I'm not talking full PVC Grundens, but a waterproof shell type set of bibs to knock the chill off and layer under on those cooler mornings. Is there anything out there that I don't know about that would pull double duty for that and also snow skiing? Or just get a set of snow bibs and use them for fishing? I don't ski a ton, and some of the prices on the name brand ski stuff are $300+. I figure if anyone would know something I may be overlooking, Rokslide would. I typically don't need insulation for either activity, just a shell to layer under.

Or flip it around and look for some good fishing bibs that would work for your single ski trip…

My buddy has a pair of Simms bibs, he got them on sale. They are forested or something and he used them for everything.

GoreTex 3 or GoreTex Pro. Skiing bibs are over priced if new and current. You can find deals by searching around for last years or older models still unsold. They just might not be the colors you would normally want.

It depends on how cool you want to look. Bibs are almost always more expensive. Pants might be a better option. You could pick up a pair of cheap ski pants on Sierra Outpost and buy some lightweight Grundens bibs for the boat and be ahead.
